Overs pill: Others is a database placeholder for unmapped Ability Enhancement Courses, not a separate syllabus (subjects.json lists AEC Others). As per the live notifications at du.ac.in/uploads/new-web/24022023_AEC.pdf (31.10.2022) and du.ac.in/uploads/new-web/05092023_NEP_Enha.pdf (01.09.2023), every real AEC has a specific language or EVS syllabus with 2 credits (typically 2-0-0 lecture) and examination 'as prescribed by the Examination Branch'; there is no distinct 'Others' PDF with its own units. For any paper coded as Others, students must verify the exact language (e.g., Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu, EVS) and units from their college handout or academicaffairs.du.ac.in. Students lose marks by treating 'Others' as a generic theory paper and not confirming the actual AEC title, which varies by college (as of 12 Sept 2026).
AEC Others is a 2-credit Ability Enhancement Course (AEC) under Delhi University's UGCF/NEP 2022. Exam pattern & marking: Typically 2 credits, 50 marks theory + 25 internal or 75+25 depending on language/EVS pattern. Short notes (5-6 marks) and essay-type (10-15 marks) from the four units, plus internal via assignments, language labs or field work for EVS.
