164 documents, all free.
B.Sc. (Hons) Botany Honours at DU (UGCF) combines theory, practicals and labs. This collection with 164 documents across 8 semester(s) separates DSC theory, practical files and PYQs semester-wise so your lab journal and theory notes stay aligned.
Exam pattern: 75 marks theory + 25 internal, plus 25-50 marks practical per paper. Theory asks one derivation/diagram (15 marks), two mechanisms or life-cycle diagrams (10 each), and shorts. Practical viva checks lab steps, not just results.
Marking: Labelled diagrams with equations (e.g., thermodynamics cycle, cell structure, organic mechanism) carry disproportionate weight. One correct diagram with 3 labels often equals 10 marks.
How to use PYQs: Before lab, skim the corresponding theory PYQ — DU often asks the same experiment’s principle in theory. Keep a formula/diagram sheet per unit; verified notes here are built that way.
All documents are UGCF/NEP, free. Confirm your lab batch’s syllabus from your department.
