This is the 2023 Semester Previous Year Question Paper for Ayurveda and Nutrition — Delhi University DU & College under the UGCF/NEP framework. Free to view on Sulaksh.

Ayurveda and Nutrition is a 2-credit VAC (1 lecture, 0 tutorial, 1 practical) under UGCF 2022, taught in 2025-26 as 1+1 weekly contact hours (p.3 credit table). As per the official syllabus at du.ac.in/uploads/new-web/26102022_VAC.pdf, the course is organised as three blocks — Unit I Introduction to Ayurvedic Nutrition (4 weeks) on Ayurveda and Indian food cultures and regional traditions, Unit II Basic principles of Food and Nutrition and Ayurveda (6 weeks) on Doshas, Ahara vidhi visheshaayatana and FSSAI Ayurveda Aahar Regulations 2022, and Unit III Ayurvedic Diets (5 weeks) on Sattvic/Rajasi/Tamasic, Viruddha Ahara and Dincharya/Ritucharya — with a 15-week practical component (pp.3-4). The practical requires a market classification of foods into Sattvic/Rajasi/Tamasic and a survey of 10-15 households on food behaviour and incompatible foods, plus e-resources from Ministry of Ayush (p.4). Examination scheme is stated only as 'Subject to directions from the Examination Branch/University of Delhi from time to time' (p.4), so no fixed 25/25/50 split is printed in this PDF. Students often lose marks by writing generic nutrition without citing Dosha, Ahara vidhi or FSSAI 2022, and by skipping the household survey format examiners expect (as of 12 Sept 2026).
