E-Tourism is a 2-credit Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) under Delhi University's UGCF 2022, taught in 2025-26 as a 0 lecture, 0 tutorial, 2 practical (p.1 credit table). As per the official syllabus on academicaffairs.du.ac.in, the course is organised as three 20-hour blocks — Unit-I Introduction to E-tourism, ICT revolution and intermediaries/travel trade websites (20 hours); Unit-II E-business for Destination Management Organizations with case studies of OYO, OLX, Zoomcar (20 hours); and Unit-III Social Media marketing, travel blogs, AI/VR and competitive strategies (20 hours). Case studies include Red Apple DMC, OYO Rooms, OLX, Zoomcar, Ofo Cycles and social platforms Facebook/Twitter/YouTube/WhatsApp (p.1-2). Evaluation as per University guidelines (p.3); credit 0-0-2 implies practical assessment. Examiners expect destination-specific e-business models, not generic tourism essays; missing the DMO value-net diagram or AI/VR examples from Unit III costs marks. For revision, map each PYQ to its unit — middle units repeat most — and confirm your college's exact paper code before the exam, as SEC codes vary by theme (as of 12 Sept 2026).
