This is the latest Semester Syllabus for Environmental Auditing — Delhi University DU & College under the UGCF/NEP framework. Free to view on Sulaksh.
Environmental Science as a Generic Elective is a 4-credit GE under UGCF 2022, taught in 2025-26 in the GE pool alongside the 2-credit AEC EVS papers, with 3 lectures+1 practical/tutorial as per Faculty of Science GE listing (as seen on the GE PYQ 'AECC - Environmental Science Semester 2nd' and the AEC notification 01.09.2023 for AEC-II Environmental Science Theory into Practice-II). As per the syllabus scan available via CDN (AECC_-_Environmental_Science_Semester_2nd.pdf) and the live AEC notification at du.ac.in/uploads/new-web/05092023_NEP_Enha.pdf (which details EVS II units on biodiversity, pollution, etc.), the GE version covers Unit I environment and ecosystems, Unit II natural resources and biodiversity, Unit III environmental pollution and Unit IV social issues and legislation, with field work and project/visit components. The standalone GE syllabus PDF is not separately hosted on academicaffairs for 2022-23 under the same code, so we cite the live AEC-II text plus CDN GE scan as cross-verification (cdn-only for GE-specific code). Examination is 90 theory +30 internal as per GE pattern, with 15-week practical/field work. Students lose marks by writing generic pollution without the field-visit data or biodiversity specifics Viva checks (as of 12 Sept 2026).
