This is the 2026 Semester Study Material for Environmental Science — Delhi University DU & College under the UGCF/NEP framework. Free to view on Sulaksh.

B.Sc. (Hons) Environmental Science at Delhi University is deliberately interdisciplinary, linking earth, chemistry, physics and ecology. As of 2026, the UGCF 2022 programme lists Sem 1 DSCs as Environmental and Earth Surface Processes (UPC 2182011101), Environmental Physics (2182011102) and Environmental Chemistry (2182011103), each 4 credits (2 theory + 2 practical). Later semesters cover Water, Land and Soil, Ecosystems, Environmental Biotechnology, Atmosphere and Climate Change, and finally Biodiversity, Pollution and Urban Ecosystems. The breadth is the difficulty: students often lose marks when they write generic answers without data, case references or correct practical methodology for field and lab work.
