This is the 2026 Semester Previous Year Question Paper for Leadership Excellence Through the Gita — Delhi University DU & College under the UGCF/NEP framework. Free to view on Sulaksh.
Leadership Excellence Through the Gita is a 2-credit VAC (1-0-1) approved by EC Resolution 38-28 on 17.01.2025 and taught in 2025-26 as a leadership-through-Gita paper (p.1 credit table, Appendix-52). As per the official syllabus at du.ac.in/uploads/new-web/13022025-EC-Appendix-52.pdf, the course has Unit 1 Decoding Leadership through Gita (5 lectures) on Dharma/Adharma/Arajkata/Loksangrah and Swadharma/Ashrama/Apad Dharma and Karma-Vikarma-Akarma; Unit 2 Developing Leadership Qualities (4 lectures) on Karmayogi, Triguna (Sattva/Rajas/Tamas) and reducing Tamas/balancing Rajas/increasing Sattva; Unit III Ethical and compassionate Leadership (3 lectures) on Yajna/Dana/Tapas; and Unit IV Case Studies of Leaders from Modern Bharat (3 lectures) on Vivekanand/Gandhi/APJ Kalam/Ratan Tata, plus 15 sessions of 2 hours practical (p.2). The practical includes SWOC analysis, Tamasik behaviour audit, single-point focus and breath awareness (20 breaths/10 rounds), and Yajna/Dana/Tapas projects (pp.2-3). Examination is 'Subject to directions from Examination Branch'. Students lose marks by writing generic leadership without the Gita's Triguna/Yajna-Dana-Tapas frame or without a SWOC example, which the project file checks (as of 12 Sept 2026).
