This is the 2024 Semester Previous Year Question Paper for Vedic Mathematics-III** — Delhi University DU & College under the UGCF/NEP framework. Free to view on Sulaksh.
Vedic Mathematics-III is a 2-credit VAC (1-0-1) under UGCF 2022, taught in 2025-26 as the third-level Vedic maths paper with prerequisite Vedic Mathematics-II (vac.du.ac.in/listvac.html note: Sem III, Vedic Maths-III prerequisite is Vedic Maths-II). As per the portal and the baseline Vedic Mathematics-I syllabus at du.ac.in/uploads/new-web/26102022_VAC.pdf (pp.77-79), the course continues the 1-0-1 pattern with further advanced Vedic techniques in arithmetic, algebra and geometry, building on Vedic-I/II's Sutras like Urdhva Tiryak, Nikhilam, Ekadhikena and Baudhayana, plus a 15-week practical of demonstrations/workshops. The 2022 PDF prints only Vedic-I; Vedic-III/IV are portal-listed progressions (live but partial). Examination is 'Subject to directions from Examination Branch'. Students lose marks by skipping the prerequisite chain or by not showing Vinculum/Dwandwa steps examiners demand at this level (as of 12 Sept 2026).
