This is the latest Semester Important Questions for Yoga: Philosophy & Practice — Delhi University DU & College under the UGCF/NEP framework. Free to view on Sulaksh.

As notified in the same UGCF 2022 VAC notification and taught in 2025-26, Yoga: Philosophy and Practice is a 2-credit VAC (1 lecture +1 practical) with three theory blocks: Yoga — Asana, Pranayama and Dhyana (history, significance of asana, effect of pranayama, importance of dhyana), Patanjali’s Yogasutra and Chakra (summary plus first and second sutras and psychic chakras), and Understanding Asana and Pranayama (basics, Surya Namaskar and Nadi Shodhana). The verified 15-week practical is prescriptive: Surya Namaskar, selected asana and pranayama, eye-relaxation in 7 steps and neck in 4 steps, concentration on bhrumadhya, and a project report on just 15 minutes of daily breath observation. Because the title says “Philosophy”, students prepare only sutra meanings and lose marks where the syllabus actually awards them — writing Surya Namaskar steps in order, naming Nadi Shodhana correctly, and showing the 7/4-step relaxation precisely as prescribed.
