264 documents, all free.
Political Science General at DU blends theory (liberty, justice, democracy) with Indian institutions and global politics. With 264 documents across 4 semesters, this collection orders syllabus and PYQs so you study concepts and their Indian application together.
Exam pattern: 90/100 marks with choices — e.g., “Answer 4 out of 6”. Theory papers ask “Compare Rawls with Nozick on justice” while India papers ask “Federalism — quasi or cooperative? Discuss with recent examples.” That pairing is deliberate.
Marking: A thesis + counter-thesis + Indian example fetch full marks. For theory, one quote (e.g., “Justice is the first virtue of social institutions” — Rawls) is enough; for Indian politics, one Supreme Court case or recent election data shows application.
How to use PYQs: Keep Unit 1 and Unit 4 of each paper open together — DU often pairs liberty with democracy, or federalism with representation. Make a one-page debate table per unit: left “concept”, right “critique + example”. That is exactly how verified notes here are formatted.
Recent PYQs (2022-2025) follow UGCF strictly. Verify paper codes from your college; this overview helps planning and disappears once the official PDF is live.
