Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Sulaksh website, operated by Lakshmeshwar Pandey and the Sulaksh Editorial Team, and the educational content, notes, PYQs and study materials we provide.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sulaksh website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website.

These terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access the website. You should review these terms periodically, as continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Acceptable Use

When using Sulaksh, you agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, or in any way that violates applicable laws;
  • Copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell or commercially exploit the content for purposes other than personal study without prior permission;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, its servers or connected systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the proper functioning of the website; or
  • Upload, post or transmit any content that is false, misleading, defamatory or infringing on the rights of others.

3. Fair Use, Automated Access & AI/Bot Limit

Sulaksh is free for genuine human students for personal, non-commercial study. To keep it fast and free for everyone:

  • Manual only: Browse, view and download one file at a time by hand. No "download all" feature exists.
  • 5-per-10s burst limit: Using bots, crawlers, spiders, headless browsers, scripts, download managers, AI assistants or any automation to copy/scrape/download more than 5 files in any 10-second window (max 5 concurrent) is strictly prohibited. Sustained use is further capped at 80 files per 24 hours per IP.
  • No bulk mirroring: Mass downloading, mirroring, re-hosting, or using content to train AI models / build datasets without prior written permission (even with credit) is prohibited.

Upload guideline: Only upload notes you personally wrote or materials you have the right to share. Do not upload pages scanned directly from copyrighted textbooks or paid coaching material — this notice is also shown in the Upload Material modal.

Policy Violation & enforcement: Any IP exceeding 5 files/10s or 80/24h, or any automated bulk pattern, violates these Terms and Privacy Policy §9. We log IP/user-agent/request patterns and may enforce `429` rate-limit, CAPTCHA/Managed Challenge, IP block, and takedowns. Normal human use (e.g., 5 tabs) is not flagged. 4. Study Materials

The materials provided on Sulaksh, including notes, previous year questions (PYQs), syllabi and other study resources, are offered for personal, non-commercial, educational use. Please note:

  • Materials are provided for reference and study purposes only.
  • Every resource on Sulaksh is either written by our team, sourced from officially published examination/syllabus documents, or uploaded by a contributor who has confirmed they hold the rights to share it.
  • We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and up to date, but you should always verify important examination-related information with the official sources.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, the name "Sulaksh", the website design, branding and original content published by us are our intellectual property and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may view and use content for personal, non-commercial study purposes, but you may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our original content without our prior written permission.

We only host material we've created, that comes from official public exam/university sources, or that contributors have confirmed they have the right to share. If you're a rights holder and have a concern about something on this site, contact us at [email protected] with the work in question and its location — we review every report and act on valid ones promptly, typically within 48 hours.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use the website and the materials you access. You agree to use the content at your own discretion and to independently verify exam notifications, syllabi, dates and other official information with the relevant authorities or institutions before relying on it.

7. External Links

The website may contain links to external websites that are not operated by us. We have no control over their content and assume no responsibility for them. The inclusion of any external link does not imply endorsement. You access external sites entirely at your own risk.

8. Availability of the Website

We aim to keep the website available at all times, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free from errors. We may suspend, modify or discontinue any part of the website at any time, with or without notice, without liability to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sulaksh and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the website and its content.

Because examination patterns, syllabi and notifications may change, we accept no liability for decisions made based on the content provided on this website. You are advised to confirm all official details with the issuing authority.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the website after any changes means you accept the revised terms.
